Program Development and Implementation

At POLARIS, we believe there are eight essential steps to developing and implementing an effective fluid analysis program. Oil, Fuel & Coolant Test Packages

POLARIS Laboratories™ provides complete testing and analysis for oils, fuels, coolants and metalworking fluids for numerous applications in a wide variety of industries. We provide 24-hour turnaround on most routine testing with data analysis and maintenance recommendations you can use to affect change in your daily maintenance practices and manage an effective fluid analysis program.

Placing Your First Order

Once you've determined the testing you need, it's easy to place your first order. Call Customer Service at 877-808-3750 to establish your POLARIS account, set up your HORIZON® account to retrieve your results online and order test kits and sampling equipment and supplies.

Taking Representative Samples

Regular sampling and trend analysis — monitoring test data over an extended period of time — will provide the information you need to continually maximize asset reliability and, ultimately, increase company profits.

How to Complete the POLARIS Sample Jar Label & CRF

POLARIS sample jar labels and component registration forms are sent with each test kit ordered. Providing the laboratory with complete and accurate unit and fluid information on both the jar label and component registration form is vital to receiving the most accurate and actionable data analysis and maintenance recommendations.

Minimizing Sample Turnaround Time

The value of fluid analysis results diminishes significantly with time as the condition of both the fluid and the equipment being tested continue to change.
