POLARIS Canada to Open in September

POLARIS Laboratories is expanding again! Our newest 4,000 square foot facility will open by the end of September in Edmonton, Alberta—our fourth laboratory opening since our headquarters began operations in Indianapolis in 1999. Our Houston facility opened in 2003 and our Salt Lake City location opened in 2006.

“POLARIS chose Canada for our first international laboratory location because a large number of our current customers have a presence in both the US and Canada,” said Bryan Debshaw, POLARIS CEO. “We look to expand our business in the oil and gas, construction, mining and transportation industries with our new facility in Edmonton. It will also allow us to serve our current Canadian customers with better turnaround time and greater capabilities.”

Specializing in oil, fuel and coolant analysis to improve equipment reliability, POLARIS currently supports more than 60 private label fluid analysis programs for customers that include Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Valvoline, Kendall, Ingersoll Rand, Terex, Bobcat and Kawasaki.

All three existing POLARIS Laboratories are ISO 17025 A2LA accredited facilities, the highest level of quality attainable by a testing laboratory backed by the most stringent accrediting body in the industry. The Edmonton facility will undergo the ISO 17025 accreditation process in the coming months.
